This Privacy Policy explains how Byteway LLC (“Byteway”, “we”) handles information for this website and Avora APlay, our Mac video player.
The Mac App Store listing for APlay also includes an App Privacy nutrition label. If that label and this page ever differ, the nutrition label describes APlay’s current behavior.
What We Collect
APlay does not collect personal information. We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs in APlay.
The only information we may receive is what you choose to send, such as a support email.

When we release other products, we will update this page and that product’s App Store privacy label.
How We Use Information
When you contact support, we use your message to reply and to fix problems. We may use aggregated, non-identifying information to keep the website running. We do not use APlay data for advertising.
Sharing
We do not share personal information with advertising networks or data brokers.
We use service providers only to operate the business, such as website hosting (Cloudflare) and email. Those providers process information on our behalf.
Retention And Deletion
Support email is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, unless a longer period is required by law. Data that never leaves your device (APlay preferences and your media files) is under your control; uninstalling the app or deleting those files removes it.
To request deletion of information you sent us, email contact@byteway.cc and tell us which address or message to remove.
Children
APlay is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when products change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the website or APlay after an update means you accept the revised policy.
